TRIO ARISONTO

Trio Arisonto is a London-based horn trio made up of violinist Ezo Sarici, horn player Annemarie Federle, and pianist Harry Rylance, all of whom met during their studies at the Royal Academy of Music. Since their formation in late 2021, the trio have performed in venues across the UK such as the Helmsley Arts Centre, Rhyl Music Club, Stapleford Granary Arts Centre, Hampstead Garden Suburb Concert Series, and at the Royal Academy of Music. They are winners of the 2023 Tunnell Trust Awards Scheme. 


Besides enjoying performing the core, albeit limited, repertoire for their ensemble, Trio Arisonto are also dedicated to expanding the world of horn trio works. They have premiered several of their own arrangements which have recently included works such as Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture, Ravel’s Pavane pour une infante défunte, Schubert piano trios, and crowd-pleasers such as Piazzolla’s Libertango. They have also commissioned award-winning composer Gary Yershon to write them a piece in 2024 and are looking forward to working with other living composers. 

  • At the age of 4, Ezo embarked on her musical journey at the Royal Academy of Music through the "First String Experience" program. Continuing her studies at Junior Guildhall for an additional five years, she further honed her skills at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School. Ezo's captivating performances have graced esteemed concert halls, including The Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Centre, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Wales Millennium Centre, St John's Smith Square, Windsor Castle, and Buckingham Palace. With a musical presence extending across Europe, Ezo has undertaken numerous solo engagements in
    countries such as Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, and the Czech Republic. Her talent has been showcased in international masterclasses with renowned mentors, including Ani Kavafian, Pierre Amoyal, Ning Feng, and others. Noteworthy achievements include reaching the semi-finals of the Lipizer International Violin Competition and receiving the prestigious Most Artistic Performance and Temperament prize and was the winner of the Strings and Piano Duo Prize 2023 at the Royal Academy of Music.

    Beyond her prowess as a violinist, Ezo displayed her versatility as a multi-instrumentalist by assuming aguest principal viola role in the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast in October 2022. She also took center stageat the London Jazz Festival alongside Nick Smart, the head of Jazz at the Academy. Ezo's creativityextends to composition, with her piece "A Bagatelle for Beethoven," dedicated to the maestro's 250thbirthday, premiering at the Beethoven House in Bonn.

    At the age of 17, Ezo established the Apollo Philharmonic Orchestra in London, marking their debutconcert in October 2019 with performances of Schubert's 5th and Beethoven's 7th symphonies. Herachievements include winning the Strings and Duo Prize 2023 at the Royal Academy of Music withpianist Junyan Chen. Ezo graduated from the Royal Academy of Music on a scholarship under the guidance of LSO principal Roman Simovic. Her dedication to musical excellence continues to shape her promising career.

  • Annemarie Federle is Principal Horn of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Aurora Orchestra, and she regularly appears as guest principal with other major orchestras in the UK, including the London Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, Philharmonia and BBC Scottish Symphony orchestras. 

    Annemarie was a grand finalist in the BBC Young Musician 2020 competition, performing Ruth Gipps’ Horn Concerto with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2021, she was also a semi-finalist in the prestigious ARD International Music Competition and winner of the Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award. Following these successes, Annemarie has enjoyed a diverse solo career, performing concertos with the LPO, English Chamber Orchestra, and London Mozart Players, among others, and recitals across the UK and Europe, including at the KKL Lucerne. 

    Originally from Germany, Annemarie grew up in Cambridge and recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she learnt with Richard Watkins, David Pyatt, Michael Thompson, Martin Owen, Kira Doherty and Roger Montgomery.

  • Harry Rylance is a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist, and répétiteur who has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Seoul Arts Centre, the Grand Hall of Budapest, the Royal Concertgebouw, and live on BBC Radio. 

    Recent highlights have included his solo recital debut at Wigmore Hall, winning the 2023 Kathleen Ferrier Accompanist Prize, a solo and chamber music tour of Germany and the Netherlands, and appearances at the Aldeburgh Festival as a Britten Pears Young Artist. Last year he released an album titled Obscurus with trumpeter Lucy Humphris under the Rubicon Classics label, and also recently appeared as an accompanist for soprano Cassandro Wright’s debut album In The Twilight under the Linn Records Label.

    Harry studied at the Royal Academy of Music under Joanna MacGregor CBE and graduated in 2020 with a DipRAM for the highest mark in his year before being appointed as a Chamber Music and Répétiteur Fellow. He was also awarded the RAM Silver Medal and was elected an Associate of RAM. Since 2022, Harry has worked regularly on the music staff for Glyndebourne Opera House and for the International Meistersinger Akademie in Germany.
